Regular Season Round 15: Mega BG - Partizan 90-100

Very expected game in Beograd where 7th rankedMega BG (8-7) was defeated by third ranked Partizan (13-2) 100-90 on Monday. Partizan forced 19 Mega BG turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Duane Washington Jr (190-2000, college: Ohio St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import center Tyrique Jones (206-1997, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Croatian forward Andrija Jelavic (207-2004) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) scored 16 points and 9 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Partizan keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Crvena zvezda and Buducnost. Loser Mega BG keeps the seventh place with seven games lost.
